Yara recently completed her undergrad and will be starting her master’s at U of T in September. She wants to help combat climate change and mitigate its impacts on biological systems. As a chemical engineer, she is interested in applications that reduce the impacts of industrialization on natural systems and already studied green fuel production during her undergraduate thesis. In her spare time Yara is an avid cyclist and rower ( competing for the Canadian National Rowing Team).
