Samira is a student at UTM working towards a specialist in Geography (science, physical geography) and an environmental science major. She is interested in the impact of climate change on ecosystems and plants, as well as, biogeography and dendrochronology. In Ensminger Lab this season, she will be studying the impact of soil moisture on growth of different genotypes of Picea glauca. Outside of her studies, she enjoys playing volleyball, bubble tea, and being outdoors.
