Rongpu Zhang is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto Mississauga, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Mathematics. In the Ensminger Lab, Rongpu studies photosynthetic and hydrological responses of Picea glauca to seasonal variation and environmental stress, using statistical and computational approaches to analyze ecological data. His research interests include biostatistics, quantitative biology, and statistical modeling of complex systems. In his spare time, Rongpu enjoys music and plays the cello.
