Lena is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She joined the Ensminger lab as a member of the FastPheno project in the winter semester 2024. She is thrilled to be helping the Ensminger Lab because she is passionate about biological conservation and wants to be a driver of positive change for the environment. Lena majors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, as well as Archaeology because she believes that it is essential to understand our Earth’s past in order to understand how to implement sustainable development for the present and future. In her spare time, Lena enjoys dancing, hiking, and reading a good book in a cozy café.
