Anika is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto Mississauga working toward majors in Biology and Computer Science, as well as a minor in Geographical Information Systems. She is interested in conservation and in studying the variation and adaptations of organisms in response to their environment. Her current project aims to characterize drought resistance in white spruce (Picea glauca) by analyzing the anatomical traits of genotyped trees. Outside of her studies, she enjoys drawing, hiking and taking photos of cool bugs.
