Iqra, fourth year Molecular Biology student, strives to translate her bioinformatics knowledge (from BLAST, NCBI, and Benchling) in a professional setting to analyze transcriptome data and study plant response to biological stresses like high temperatures and droughts, using softwares like Geneious Prime, as well as contributing to research in development of resistant plants in the light of climate change.
